Cookie and Session Notice
How JurisPK uses essential cookies, session identifiers, local storage, browser storage, and similar technologies.Scope
This notice explains how JurisPK uses cookies, session identifiers, local storage, browser storage, and similar technologies. We use "cookies" broadly to include small browser files, local storage entries, session storage entries, identifiers, and related browser-side storage.
Essential Storage
JurisPK uses essential storage to operate the service. Essential storage may be used to:
- Keep you signed in.
- Maintain a secure session.
- Remember your account, plan, and access state.
- Send session identifiers to the backend.
- Enforce guest, free, Plus, and Pro access rules.
- Track usage counts and daily query allowances.
- Preserve account drawer, checkout, or search state.
- Protect against abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, forged requests, and repeated limit bypassing.
- Support payment-reference submission and subscription activation workflows.
Without essential storage, JurisPK may not be able to provide accounts, search, preview access, full-text access, billing, payment review, security, or support features.
Search History and Local State
JurisPK may store recent searches, active search state, selected filters, session identifiers, or similar product state in your browser for convenience and continuity.
If you use a shared or public device, other people with access to the same browser profile may be able to see local search history or session state. You should sign out, clear browser storage, and avoid sensitive searches on shared devices.
Payments and Account Flow
During checkout or manual payment review, browser storage may help preserve selected plan, billing interval, payment order, instructions, payment reference state, and account status. This helps prevent accidental loss of a pending checkout flow.
Security and Abuse Prevention
Cookies and similar technologies may be used to identify suspicious activity, enforce rate limits, detect repeated abuse, maintain auditability, reduce fraud, and protect JurisPK from scraping, automated attacks, credential abuse, and payment-reference misuse.
Analytics and Marketing
At launch, JurisPK is focused on essential service storage and functional product state. JurisPK does not currently describe its service as using third-party advertising cookies or external AI analytics cookies for legal-search behavior.
If we later add non-essential analytics, marketing, advertising, or tracking technologies, we will update this notice and provide controls where required by applicable law.
Managing Storage
Most browsers allow you to block or clear cookies and site data. Blocking essential storage may break login, search, plan access, full-text access, payment review, or other core features.
Clearing JurisPK browser storage may remove local search history, session continuity, account state, checkout state, or other saved preferences from that browser.
Updates
We may update this notice as the platform changes. The "updated" date shows the latest published version.
